Il progetto di ricerca è stato realizzato al fine di esaminare la partecipazione e le esperienze delle donne disabili nella riabilitazione occupazionale all’interno dei centri dei membri dell’EPVR. In particolare gli obiettivi dell’indagine sono stati:
• esaminare la percentuale di partecipazione delle donne nella riabilitazione occupazionale all’interno dei centri EPVR;
• individuare gli ostacoli e le difficoltà delle donne nel reinserimento nel mondo del lavoro;
• elaborare raccomandazioni al comitato di coordinamento per il rafforzamento della partecipazione delle donne nella riabilitazione occupazionale.The project examines the participation of women with disabilities in vocational rehabilitation programs. It examines the rates of participation of women in rehabilitation programs of the European Platform for Vocational Rehabilitation (EPVR) and investigates on the barriers for women vocational rehabilitation. The document also presents proposals to improve women's participation in such rehabilitation programmes.

The 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All seeks to make people in the European Union more aware of their rights to equal treatment and to a life free of discrimination. These are two of the basic principles underpinning the EU. The Year will also launch a major debate on the benefits of diversity both for European societies and individuals.
The activities undertaken during the Year intend to remedy the discrimination from which some individuals suffer because of their gender, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age, or sexual orientation. - Analysis and Evaluation of Anti-discrimination action

Analysis and evaluation of policy and activities form the first objective, or 'strand', of the Community Action Programme to combat discrimination. The term covers a large range of actions from monitoring and analysis of the implementation of the Racial Equality Directive and Employment Equality Directive by expert groups, to the commissioning of publications on specific non-discrimination issues. The outputs of these activities assist the European Commission in both assessing the extent of discrimination in the European Union and the impact of its work in its elimination. They also influence how the Community Action Programme shapes its future undertakings.
The Community Action Programme organises analysis and evaluation in the anti-discrimination sector into the following categories:
- Monitoring and analysis of the implementation of the Equal Treatment Directives

The publication is a summary of the Workplace Violence Intervention Workshop which has been held in Washington DC, in April 2000 (organized by University of Iowa Injury Prevention Research Center). The workshop brought together participants representing diverse constituencies within industry, organized labor, municipal, state, and federal governments, and academia. The goal of this meeting was to examine issues related to violence in the workplace and to develop recommended research strategies to address this public health problem.

The biological accidents have become the most frequent in the occupational risks among the health care workers. The objective of the study was to quantify the importance of the biological accidents in the health care workers of a sanitary area. It is necessary to establish programs of occupational health in the healthcare sector including: training and informing workers in order to modify their habits in the workplace and to lower the risk of exposure to biological hazards;and control programs for the monitoring and surveillance of healthcare workers after an exposure has occurred.
