European Trade Union Institute - Research, Education, Health and Safety (ETUI-REHS)

The ETUC-REHS, formerly, the trade union technical bureau (TUTB), carries out a lot of work on a wide variety of issues. Training activities with AFETT/ETUCO The TUTB regularly organises training activities in collaboration with AFETT and ETUCO. IFA - Institut für Arbeitsschutz der Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung

Das IFA - Institut für Arbeitsschutz der Deutschen Gesetzlichen Unfallversicherung (ehemals BGIA) ist ein Forschungs- und Prüfinstitut der gesetzlichen Unfallversicherungsträger in Deutschland. The IFA (formerly BGIA) is an institute for research and testing of the German Statutory Accident Insurance Bodies (BG/UK). It supports them as a institute for research and development for occupational safety with the focus on science and technology. Temasida bygg och anläggning (Construction and Civil Engineering Work)

Byggbranschen är en av de mest skadedrabbade i Sverige. Antalet anmälda arbetsskador har dessutom ökat mellan 1997 och 2001, framför allt belastningsskador och fallolyckor. Sjukskrivningstiderna är långa.
Det systematiska arbetsmiljöarbetet har inte slagit igenom i branschen. Byggherrar och projektörer behöver bli bättre på att leva upp till sitt ansvar. Tillsynen behöver stärkas.
